Hedwig Dances is a link to Chicago’s dance history and a bridge to its future. Hedwig Dances emerged in 1985 from the teeming milieu of MoMing Dance & Arts Center and has since gone on to become the dance company-in-residence at the Chicago Cultural Center. This residency has allowed the company to mature artistically and create fertile, new ground for educational and professional offerings to the Chicago dance community. more
